| Other Information | There are difficulties in confidently identifying Robertson in the official records due to doubts about his forenames. The CWGC seems to have him listed as Robert Bruce Hope Robertson (all other details match). The University of Glasgow WW1 Roll of Honour lists a William Bruce Robertson who was awarded the MC and presumed killed at Gallipoli on 28th June 1915 but neither I nor the Cameronian Museum at Hamilton can find a trace of this award in connection with William B H Robertson. | |
